Our group was founded in 1993 with the founding of PROTEA s.r.l., a company created to meet the initial automation needs of the industrial landscape. In order to better manage market demand, PROTEA SUD s.r.l. was founded in 2000, thus forming the current PROTEA s.r.l. group.
The group operates in perfect harmony, boasting highly qualified personnel specialized in all key disciplines, from PLC, robotics and CNC programming to electrical design.

Protea s.n.c. was founded in Druento (Turin) in 1993 from the idea of Engineer D’Apote and his passion for industrial automation.
Soon transformed into an s.r.l., Protea s.r.l. has become a well-established company that has been designing industrial automation solutions for over 30 years, covering the entire spectrum of services, from feasibility studies and application software development to system commissioning. The highly qualified team is able to assist and support the customer through every phase of system implementation: from hardware and software design to the analysis and development of issues related to mechanical processing and automated assembly lines.
Our technicians attend continuous refresher courses and are constantly trained on all the new applications and technological innovations in the plant, becoming a point of reference for all other companies.
Protea s.r.l., together with Protea Sud s.r.l., offer the opportunity to have a single point of contact for those systems that require a single supply for the electrical part, consisting of the study and development of HW/SW design.
To meet the need for cost reduction and the presence of qualified personnel in central and southern Italy, Protea Sud s.r.l. was founded in 2000, with headquarter in Montefusco (AV).
